Windows, Prep, and Trim

Everything is coming along beautifully! We have such great workers who are at the house everyday to get it done and ready for us to move in.  Today all (but 1) windows were put in... It's almost like they wanted us to really see the before and after:

The window on the left is new and clean and beautiful. The window on the right does look better without the bars, but still needs to go asap.  There was an issue with sizing so they are rushing to get that window for us.  Here's what the house looked like before:

What a difference, right?!

Also, finishing touches for wall prep, base coat for trim, and prep for paint is happening!

We Bought A House!

My first Mother's Day was wonderful.  Breakfast at our favorite spot, the zoo, late lunch at another favorite spot, and we toured a house that neither of us thought would make us think twice.  

Well we ended up buying that house... The late mid century, brick box that we found had some amazing charm under the 70's glare.  It is going to take some work, but it's already on its way to becoming a perfect place for us to start as homeowners.
